These carbon filters are the daddy of all carbon filters, they use a thick layer of high grade carbon produced from coal (not coconut fibers) which results in very little ash & very little moisture. What this means for an indoor gardener is that they normally last over two years (compared to an average of one year for coconut carbon*)

About Rhino Pro Filters

The Rhino Pro Filter is constructed from Australian-mined RC412 carbon, the best in the world. The carbon is tightly packed and sealed into a high-efficiency airflow cylinder with a vortex cone in the base and a custom pore surface for maximum transference. The high-porosity carbon and lightweight aluminium make the Rhino filter smaller and easier to handle.

Replacement carbon sleeves are available to make them last even longer.

*Carbon filter life span depends on useage but most importantly moisture levels in the grow room, very high humidity will drastically reduce the lifespan of your filters.
